Psychological Support

Personalized, free psychological care is essential at Aladina and one of our hallmarks. That’s why we have a team of psycho-oncologists who accompany children, teenagers, families, and survivors, giving them the tools they need throughout the entire process.

Psycho-oncological therapy

Specialized psychologicalsupport

At Aladina, we offer free psycho-oncological care to children, teenagers, families, and survivors throughout Spain, in hospitals and through online sessions. Psycho-oncologists are essential figures in childhood cancer—they help patients and parents manage stress, support medical teams, and become an integral part of the healing process.

Our team accompanies families from diagnosis onward, providing tools to face each stage. Because caring for psychological health is fundamental to recovery.

Support Groups

We're stillwith you

At Aladina, we offer online support groups for mothers and fathers of children and teenagers in maintenance phase and survivors. These are sessions guided by a psycho-oncologist where participants share experiences, learn strategies to manage stress and emotions, and connect with other families living similar situations. A safe space to accompany them in this stage and help them find practical resources for daily life.

This service is free and can be requested by emailing our colleague Laura Llamas

Grief Support

A place toshare and heal

At Aladina, we provide a grief support program that lasts a full year for parents who have lost a child to cancer. We bring together mothers and fathers who have experienced loss around the same time, so they can share their journey with others who truly understand. Our sessions create a safe space to express emotions, share memories, and find tools for healing. We walk alongside families with warmth and professionalism through this painful process.

This service is free and can be requested by emailing our colleague Valeria Moriconi

Sibling Therapy

Brothers and sisters matter too

At Aladina, we also accompany the siblings of children and teenagers with cancer, offering them online psychological therapy so they can express their emotions. This program is aimed at siblings under 18 years old anywhere in Spain, with personalized sessions given by psycho-oncologists specialized in Pediatric Oncology.
