A new gym to support recovery for cancer through exercise

The future Aladina Gym will be located on a large rooftop space of over 400m² on the second floor of the hospital. It's an ideal setting where children and teens can take part in personalized exercise and sports sessions while enjoying natural light and views of the outdoors. This open, flexible space will be filled with energy, color, and sunlight—designed to inspire movement and healing. The new gym will feature: A covered open-plan area that creates a sheltered space over the existing courtyard A gym area for rehabilitation and physical activity Private workout boxes Two restrooms A storage area An office An outdoor area With this new gym, Aladina will bring its personalized sports program to Hospital Materno Infantil Virgen de La Arrixaca in Murcia, led by a specialist in Physical Activity and Health funded by Aladina. Personalized physical activity is a key part of treatment and recovery for children and teens with cancer, and this new space will make it possible.
