Dream Room

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Hospital Niño Jesús (UCI ALADINA), a pioneer in child-centered care, urgently needs to create a new space for patients who require observation. This Sedation Unit, which cares for nearly 2,000 children each year, has seen a dramatic rise in demand in recent years. Thanks to the exceptional, compassionate care provided by the medical and nursing teams, procedures like injections and minor surgeries are carried out in a way that minimizes pain and anxiety—always with the highest safety standards. Because of this, when children need to return for another procedure, families feel reassured, and young patients are happy to come back to what they lovingly call the “Dream Room.” The new Dream Room will feature two medical offices and three patient bays, each fully equipped with: 1 stretcher with safety bar 1 monitor 1 medication cart 2 oxygen outlets and 2 air outlets 1 sink for washing equipment and applying casts 1 storage cabinet Together, we can make sure no sick child ever loses their smile or their will to fight.
